Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 6, 2024 – A 21-year-old Jonesboro man being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a public intoxication charge died over the weekend, Chief Deputy Justin Rolland said.
Rolland said Brock Austin Tyner, 21, of Jonesboro died early Saturday morning, May 4. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Rolland said.
Tyner was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, on suspicion of public intoxication on Gee Street, Rolland said. A cause of death hasn’t been released.
In March, Tyner was arrested and charged with the theft of a firearm valued at $2,500 or less. He pleaded guilty to the charge on April 24 and received three years of probation, according to court records.
