According to the probable cause affidavit, an arrest warrant was already issued for Cruz for uploading 20 images and videos of children engaged in sexual acts. Detectives found multiple computers and phones at the home containing sexual abuse material.
Cruz was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center, where he appeared in front of District Judge David Boling. Probable cause was found by Boling to charge Cruz with 20 counts of possession or use of child sexual abuse material, a class B felony.
In addition to the $150,000 bond, Cruz was also ordered to have no access to electronic devices that can connect to the internet upon his release.
