Shirley Ann Jarvis of Harrisburg, departed this life Sunday, April 28, 2024, at her home, at the age of 68.
She was born October 8, 1955 in Marked Tree, AR, the daughter of the late Louis V. “Pea Soup” Crawford and Melissa Kirby Crawford.
She was a CNA for over 26 years and worked in several area nursing homes. Following that, she was a Home Health Nurse. In her early adult years, she was a truck driver. Shirley loved to color and spend time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Dean Crawford, two grandchildren and three nephews.
She is survived by one daughter, Nickie Garrison of Harrisburg, two sons, Paul W. Jarvis, Jr. and his wife Tyler, and Jerry W. Jarvis, two brothers, Jimmy Jack Crawford and Ralph Crawford, all of Harrisburg ,one sister, Sharon Lanfair of Harrisburg, fourteen Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services are pending at this time and will be announced by Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Those wishing to assist the family with funeral expenses are asked to make donations at the funeral home, 510 S. Illinois Street, Harrisburg, AR 72432.
