Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The Jonesboro Fire Department (JFD) was called to the scene of a fire Friday morning.

According to an eyewitness, the fire was located at the warehouse near the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Cate Avenue near the railroad tracks. A representative with JFD said crews had just responded to the fire approximately.

“They closed one of the roads down right next to it,” he said. “It’s a good idea to just stay out of that area and all the smoke.”

This is breaking news. JRN will provide updates as they are available.
