Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – A Jonesboro woman will spend over a decade in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking fentanyl and weapons charges.
Fayerita Sills, 49, pled guilty Dec. 31, 2025, to trafficking of fentanyl and possession of a firearm by a certain person. Several other charges were not pursued by prosecutors (nolle prossed).
According to Judge Chris Thyer, Sills was sentenced to 15 years (180 months) in the Arkansas Department of Corrections on the fentanyl charge, while she received 120 months suspended imposition of a sentence for both of her charges.
The probable cause affidavit states that on Oct. 9, 2024, agents with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force set up surveillance on Sills’ home in the 2400 block of Glenn Place. A search warrant had been previously signed for the home, along with bench warrants for Sills over allegations of fentanyl delivery.
Agents saw her son, Treveis Davenport, pull up to the home and enter it, only to leave the home and return a short time later, stopping in the driveway. Sills then exited the home and got into the vehicle. The affidavit noted that the vehicle had unconfirmed insurance and Davenport had a suspended driver’s license.
The vehicle was stopped by agents, and Sills was taken into custody. During the stop, a handgun belonging to Davenport was found inside, the affidavit stated.
After being denied a key to Sills’ home, agents forced entry into the home. There, they found multiple items, including:
- A Ruger LCP 380 firearm and a 7.62 x 39 caliber rifle, both found to be stolen
- A second rifle
- 9,490 fentanyl pills
- 614 oxycodone pills
- 441 xanax pills
- 769 grams of marijuana
- 52.6 grams of cocaine
On Oct. 11, 2024, District Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge Sills and Davenport. Sills was given a $3 million bond, while Davenport received a $1 million bond. Both were also required to wear a GPS ankle monitor upon release.
Court documents state that on June 20, 2025, Davenport pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with the purpose to deliver, and theft by receiving a firearm. His other charges were nolle prossed, and he was sentenced to 36 months of probation.
