Lew Steed Holland, 96, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Jonesboro.

She was born July 19, 1927 in Anson, Texas to the late John Howard and Edna Steed Cain. She was co-owner and secretary at A Village Plumber and Gordon’s Plumbing, Heating and Air in Oklahoma City for over fifty years.  Lew Steed graduated from Oklahoma A & M College in Stillwater before it became Oklahoma State University. She was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She loved to travel with her husband and was a huge supporter of Oklahoma State University sports. She attended St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Jonesboro. Mama Lew loved her family more than life itself and will always be the “perfect” blessing to the family.

She is survived by her daughter, Christi Riley; grandchildren, John Daron Riley (Ashley) and Rachel Louise Knight (Erick); great-grandchildren, Nile Riley, Amelia Riley and Holly Mae Riley.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Greer Holland Sr.; son, Gordon Greer Holland Jr. and infant daughter, Petite Holland.
