Dec. 27:
NEA Divine Intervention 3rd Annual Sobriety Ball:
- When: 7 p.m.
- Where: First Presbyterian Church, 710 Southwest Drive
- Cost: $10
- Details: This event, which celebrates sobriety, will feature food, a 360-degree photo booth, dancing, a silent auction, and more. Attire is to be black and white, per the event’s dress code.
Dec. 30:
Tween Neon Night:
- When: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- Where: Round Room of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library, 315 W. Oak Ave.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Tweens in the 4th through 6th grades are encouraged to dress in their brightest colors and enjoy a night of neon fun to close out the year. No registration is required.
“A Killer New Year” – An Original Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre:
- When: Doors open at 6 p.m., show begins at 7 p.m.
- Where: St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 531 W. College Ave.
- Cost: $30 per ticket. Click here to purchase tickets. Tickets must be purchased by Dec. 26.
- Details: Act II Performing Arts will be presenting this murder mystery show. Dinner is included, with the full menu to be found here. Ticket sales are limited and must be purchased online – there will be no door sales.
Dec. 31:
New Year’s Concert with Mömandpöp:
- When: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the first show, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the second show
- Where: Round Room of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library, 315 W. Oak Ave.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Kids and families are invited to a New Year’s concert that will feature a ball drop and a toast.
Happy New Beer:
- When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Where: Native Brew Works, 515 S. Gee St.
- Details: Enjoy beer and toast the new year as Native Brew staff play the previous year’s ball drop at 8 p.m. According to a post on the restaurant’s social media, this event is for those who “staying up late isn’t on [their] agenda.”
Hijinx Kids “Noon” Years Eve Party:
- When: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Where: 3102 Shelby Drive
- Cost: $10 for all-day play in Soft-Contained Play and Foam Factory
- Details: This event is for ages 12 and under. Kids can spin the wheel for prizes, and free hats, horns and beads will be given out while supplies last.
New Year’s Eve Gaming Get-Together:
- When: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Where: TeenHub Gaming Zone of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library, 315 W. Oak Ave.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Teens in grades 7-12 are invited for table-top games and a video game tournament to celebrate the new year. No registration is required.
Kids’ New Year’s Eve Party:
- When: Drop-off is set for 7 p.m., pickup is set for 2 a.m.
- Where: Greenlee’s Taekwondo & Hideout, 2305 E. Parker Road, Units B and C.
- Cost: $30 with an RSVP, or $40 at the door. Call 870-938-0060 to RSVP.
- Details: This event will feature Christmas movies, games and crafts, a hot chocolate bar, and a New Year’s countdown with a sparkling cider toast. Rides home on the morning of New Year’s Day are available. This event is for children 5 and up, and they must be potty-trained.
Fraternal Order of Eagles New Year’s Celebration:
- When: Doors open at 7 p.m., music begins at 9 p.m. and lasts until 12 a.m.
- Where: Jonesboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, 1700 S. Caraway Road

- Details: The celebration will feature a full menu with the band Rewind – Back to the 80s performing various ’80s hits live. Purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged.
New Year’s Eve Party at the Cotton Club:

- Details: Live music will play until 2 a.m.
New Year’s Eve Trivia at Skinny J’s:
- When: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

- Details: The winning team will get a $50 Skinny J’s gift card and display the Skinny J’s Golden Bull Trivia Trophy. Those wanting to participate can bring a team or join a table.
New Year’s Eve with Impact Ed:

- Where: Lebowski’s Brewing Co., 1514 Southern Ridge Boulevard
- Details: The band Impact Ed will be performing live at Lebowski’s to ring in the new year.
Bloodhound Live at the Elks Lodge for NYE:
- When: 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Where: Jonesboro Elks Lodge, 2113 W. Washington Ave.
- Cost: $10 cover fee. Additional $15 for dinner
- Details: The band Bloodhound will be performing live at the Elks Lodge. The $10 cover fee gets participants in the door and includes a midnight toast. Dinner is a pork loin with two sides, salad, roll and a dessert. This event is open to members and nonmembers.
Remix to Midnight:
- When: 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Where: The Lounge at Huntington Square, 313 W. Huntington Ave.
