Randell Dale Talburt, son of the late Woodrow Wilson Talburt and Josie Taylor Trowbridge Talburt, was born March 13th, 1956, in Little Rock, Ar. Â He departed this life on April 15th, 2024, at his residence in Jonesboro, Ar. at the age of 68.
His main occupation was a diesel mechanic at J&O Diesel, that later became Tri-State Trucking Company. Â He ended his career as a truck driver with Gillis Incorporated of Jonesboro, Ar.
He was baptized and a member of Fisher Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ar.
Randell is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sammy Trowbridge; sister, Ruth Hoots and nephew, Wayne Trowbridge.
He is survived by his son, Randy Joe Talburt of Jonesboro, Ar.; sister, Debbie T. Bonner and husband, Denney, of Gamaliel, Ar.; brother, Wendell Ray Talburt and wife, Lorie, of Sherman, Tx.; grandchildren, Trey Allen Talburt, Nicole Simpson, Kendall Talburt, Cole Talburt, Andrew Hulsey and Jaxton Talburt; great-grandchild, Jayda Talburt, and a host of other relatives and friends.
An informal gathering for visitation, where friends and family can reminisce and share memories, will take place from 5-7 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Emerson Funeral Home.
The burial will be April 19, 2024 at 1pm at Custer-Herron Cemetery in Henderson, Arkansas.
Active pallbearers will include: Marion Trowbridge, Joey Trowbridge, Jacob Trowbridge, Tripp Bonner, Trey Talburt, Brad Sullins. Honorary pallbearers will include: Kendall Talburt, Cole Talburt, and Andrew Hulsey.
