Craighead County, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – A Craighead County man is dead after a fatal crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 49 and County Road 928.
According to the Arkansas State Police crash report, 52-year-old David Craig was driving northbound in a Ford Transit, while 27-year-old John Cannon of Greene County was driving southbound in a Ford F-250. ASP said the crash occurred Nov. 18 at 5:47 a.m.
The report said the truck attempted to turn left, failing to yield to Craig’s vehicle. Craig died in the wreck, while Cannon was injured and taken to St. Bernards Medical Center.
Road conditions were listed as dry, and the weather was described as cloudy.
