Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – The Arkansas Department of Transportation will be hosting a public hearing next week to discuss plans and environmental assessments for a proposed new road project in Jonesboro.
The project would connect Highway 49 (Red Wolf Boulevard) to Highway 351 (Airport Road). It aims to improve connectivity and mobility, reduce congestion on Aggie Road and Highway 351, accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists, and improve stormwater drainage systems, according to an ARDOT news release.

The meeting will be held at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3930 Aggie Road on Nov. 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The City of Jonesboro and Arkansas State University have partnered with ARDOT on the project’s development. A public meeting was held for this project in June 2024.
