Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — October 4, 2025 – A video posted Saturday on Facebook appears to show a street fight involving a dozen or more people.
A review of the video suggests the street fight occurred near the intersection of Church and Cate Streets in Downtown Jonesboro. Comments on the video post also suggest the fight occurred Friday night around 11:30 p.m. There is no indication in the video or in the comments as to what may have led to the altercation.

The latter part of the video records after Jonesboro Police officers arrived on the scene. The video shows a chaotic scene with officers attempting to gain control. Some of those shown in the video were detained and arrested by officers.
Jonesboro Police Chief Rick Elliott told JonesboroRightNow that a total of five people were arrested. Elliott also said two people were transported to local hospitals with head injuries. He said he was not aware of their condition. Elliott said no officers were injured.
Elliott could not provide any information about what may have led to the fight.
The online inmate roster for the Craighead County Detention Center included two black males from Steele, MO charged with disorderly conduct and a black male from Jonesboro charged with 2nd degree assault all booked into the jail shortly after midnight Saturday morning.
The roster also showed a black female from Marion, AR charged with disorderly conduct and a white male from Crawfordsville, AR also charged with disorderly conduct. The two inmates were arrested shortly after midnight Saturday morning. Both had been released later on Saturday.
JonesboroRightNow cannot confirm that the charges against some or all of the inmates referenced above were connected to the alleged street fight at Church and Cate.
As is typically the case with incidents such as this, Elliott is asking the public for help. “We encourage anyone who can provide pertinent information or videos of this incident to please contact the Criminal Investigation Division at (870) 935-6710 on Monday,” Elliott said.
