Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Oct. 2, 2025 – The Centro Hispano of Arkansas invites the community to attend the annual Día de los Muertos – Day of the Dead Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 6 to 11 p.m. at the A-State Cooper Alumni Center, 2600 Alumni Blvd.

The evening will feature live music, dinner, dancing, and a lively auction. This event is more than a fundraiser; it is a celebration of culture and remembrance that honors departed loved ones while bringing the community together.

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a rich cultural tradition with roots in Mexico that blends indigenous practices with Catholic influences. Families honor loved ones who have passed with ofrendas (altars), decorated with marigolds, candles, photographs, and favorite foods of the departed.
