Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 10, 2025 – Concession stands in First National Bank Arena will operate via cashless transactions beginning Sept. 18.
A news release from First National Bank Arena said people purchasing food and beverages at the arena’s concession stands can pay using all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Concession stands will also accept mobile payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash will not be accepted, the release said.
“We’re beyond excited to make this change. Going cashless allows us to serve our guests quicker and more efficiently,” said Rod Saavedra, director of First National Bank Arena, in the release. “This change helps shorten lines, minimize phyiscal contact, and ensures a smoother experience for everyone attending events at First National Bank Arena. This change means less time in line and more time enjoying the action.”
The release said the change is part of an “ongoing effort to improve the fan experience by creating faster, safer, more efficient transactions.” The release added that this is the first step toward the facility becoming fully cashless.
The arena plans to expand cashless operations to parking, merchandise and other areas in the coming months, the release said.
