Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – August 3, 2025 – Jonesboro Police are investigating a second shooting incident at the same address.
According to a post on the Jonesboro Police Department Facebook page, officers responded to a shooting in the 300 block of State Street shortly after 11 a.m. today. When officers arrived, they found no victim according to the post.
A short time later an area hospital notified the E-911 Dispatch Center that a 31-year-old male shooting victim had arrived at their hospital.
This is the same address (300 block of State Street) where a shooting occurred Saturday night when a large crowd had gathered. Two people were reportedly injured in the Saturday night shooting. The JPD Facebook post indicated police believe the two shootings are unrelated.
