Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — July 30, 2025 — The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce announced that the Leadership Jonesboro Graduation & Celebration will be held on Friday, Aug. 1, at 6 p.m. at the Arkansas State University Cooper Alumni Center.
Sponsored by NEA Baptist, this event will highlight the role of leadership development in building a stronger and more connected community. Additional event sponsors include Hytrol Conveyor Systems, Ritter Communications, First Security Bank, and the Arkansas State University Office of Skills Development.
The celebration will honor the accomplishments of the 2025 Leadership Jonesboro class and showcase six unique community impact projects – each developed, led, and completed only by program participants and their community partners.
In addition, the event will feature remarks from Jonesboro Mayor Harold Copenhaver and Craighead County Judge Marvin Day, who will speak to the importance of cultivating strong leadership for the future.
As part of the evening, the Chamber will also make a major announcement regarding the future of its leadership development and young professional programming.
“For nearly four decades, Leadership Jonesboro has served as a catalyst for progress throughout our region,” said Chamber President and CEO Mark Young. “This new event honors the achievements of this year’s graduates, while also celebrating the enduring legacy and bright future of leadership development in Northeast Arkansas. With the announcement of this new initiative, the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce is reinforcing its role as the region’s leading force for community-driven leadership development.”
