Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — July 18, 2025 — First Community Bank announced the promotion of Ladonna Garner to head teller at the bank’s Jonesboro Southwest Drive location.
With 15 years of banking experience, Garner is well known for her warm personality and exceptional service. In her role, she will supervise tellers at her location, train and mentor staff, handle complex transactions, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
“Ladonna is a staple in the Jonesboro community—everyone knows her, and everyone loves her,” said Allen Williams, executive vice president, regional president overseeing the Northeast and North Central Arkansas areas as well as Missouri for First Community Bank. “She brings joy and professionalism to our team and leads with compassion. Her promotion is well deserved, and we’re lucky to have her.”
Garner holds an associate degree in business and is a member of First Community Bank’s women’s mentoring program.

Garner and her husband, Michael, have three children and six grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys flea marketing and spending time with family.
The First Community Bank Southwest Drive branch at 630 Southwest Drive is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with drive-through services available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
Additional Jonesboro branches include 1617 South Caraway Road, 910 Chancery Lane, and 222 E. Washington Ave., ensuring convenient access across the community.
