Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 30, 2025 — Those needing to do back-to-school shopping during Tax-Free Weekend can catch a free ride on Jonesboro Economical Transportation (JET) buses.
“To better help our community get to the destinations they need, JET buses will provide complimentary round-trip rides for those needing to go shopping, on Saturday, August 2nd,” a Facebook post from JET read.
Free rides will be provided on fixed routes only on Saturday, Aug. 2. Riders will be dropped off and picked up for their return trip only at retail shopping outlets. Free rides will not be provided Aug. 3
Tax-Free Weekend will be held on Aug. 2-3.
