Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 9, 2025 — Roads in downtown Jonesboro will be closed Saturday, June 14, due to multiple events.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Jonesboro, roads will be closed for the Juneteenth parade, the arrival of the Budweiser Clydesdales, Folds of Honor, and Meet Me on Main events.

Below is a list of the roads affected and closure times:

  • 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Main Street from Washington Avenue to Cate Avenue will be closed
  • 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., Church Street from Washington Avenue to Huntington Avenue will be closed
  • 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., East Street from Washington Avenue to Creath Avenue will be closed
  • 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Huntington Avenue from Union Street to Church Street will be closed

“If you’re not participating in the MANY City events on Saturday, June 14 – you’re missing out,” the post said. “Please plan ahead and use alternate routes.”

The City added that free downtown parking is available outside the closure areas.
