Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 9, 2025 — The thundering hooves of the legendary Clydesdales are set to make their appearance in downtown Jonesboro this Saturday.

The horses will arrive at the area around 3 p.m. on June 14. Ahead of the event, East Street will close to traffic starting at 2 p.m. to prepare for the horses’ arrival and staging, according to the City of Jonesboro.

The hitch team and red wagon will then make their way down Main Street starting at 4 p.m. for the March on Main.

Several stops are planned during the event for public engagement and photo opportunities with the Clydesdales. There will also be a special presentation with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders. Below is the entire route provided by the city:

  • Staging-unloading area: Park on East Street and city parking lot
  • Start: East Street, turn onto Cate Avenue, turn onto Main Street
  • Stop: Photo opportunity around the 300 block of Main Street
  • Stop: Main Street and Huntington Avenue for Folds of Honor program
  • Stop: Photo opportunity around Monroe Avenue parking lot
  • Finish: Main Street, turn onto Washington Avenue, turn onto East Street

Attendees can also take photos of the horses when they are being unloaded and during the Folds of Honor program.

The Clydesdales will then be loaded at 6 p.m. and depart the area following the event.
