Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 27, 2025 — Andrew Nadzam announced his candidacy for Circuit Judge, Division Four, in the Second Judicial District on Tuesday.

Nadzam currently serves as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Craighead County, handling felony cases. He has formerly served as a criminal defense attorney and is a former public defender. His jury trial experience includes multiple murders, fentanyl trafficking, rape, sexual assault, aggravated robbery, and battery.

Additionally, he is in private practice and has offices in Jonesboro and Highland. His practice includes estate planning, probate, trusts, family law, guardianships, and adoptions.

Nadzam serves as a board member of the Craighead County Law Library, appointed by Craighead County Judge Marvin Day and confirmed by the Craighead County Quorum Court. He is a past president and past vice-president of the Craighead County Bar Association (CCBA).

The year he served his term as president, the Arkansas Bar Association selected the CCBA as one of the three best bar associations in the state. He served as a mock trial judge for high school students for multiple years. Andrew is also a 2022 graduate of the Arkansas Bar Association’s Public Service Academy.

Nadzam attends the Jonesboro Community of Christ with his family, is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Jonesboro and the Rotary Club of Jonesboro. He is a former board member of the Keep Jonesboro Beautiful Commission. Nadzam and his family are also long-time supporters of the Northeast Arkansas Family Crisis Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sheltering and supporting women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

Nadzam graduated summa cum laude from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law after graduating from Nettleton High School and Lyon College. During his time as a law student, he served as an Associate Editor on the school’s Law Review and was awarded a Dean’s Certificate of Distinguished Service for performing over 300 hours of public service.

Division Four is currently occupied by Circuit Judge Doug Brimhall. The Second Judicial District includes Craighead, Clay, Crittenden, Greene, Mississippi, and Poinsett Counties. Primary elections will be held March 3, 2026.
