Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 19, 2025 — Jonesboro police arrested a man after responding to a violent disturbance outside a restaurant on Red Wolf Boulevard.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers found 31-year-old Dimetrios Theodore of Jonesboro striking a vehicle with a metal pole. When ordered to drop the weapon, Theodore fled and was tased. He refused to put his hands behind his back and was “dry tased” before he was taken into custody. Dry tasing involves discharging the weapon without shocking the individual.

Officers then made contact with three victims, one of whom said Theodore threw a brick at their vehicle after hiding in front of it. A second victim said he struck her car, tried to force his way in, and threw another brick, damaging her windshield. A third victim said he was asleep in his car when he woke up to find Theodore peering into his vehicle before striking it with the pole, gaining entry, and assaulting him.

Security footage from the restaurant confirmed the description of events. Theodore was transported to the Craighead County Detention Center and charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and fleeing. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 27.
