Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 15, 2025 — A Tennessee woman is being held on a $100,000 bond after police said they found her with a stolen car in Jonesboro.

On May 10, Arkansas State Police dispatch received a call from Amigo Used Cars in Cleveland, TN. A 2015 Honda Accord, reported stolen by a customer, was being tracked on Stone Street in Jonesboro.

A trooper responded and found the vehicle parked outside an apartment on Stone Street. According to the probable cause affidavit, officers found 44-year-old April Johnson of Cleveland, TN, the person who had taken the car, inside the apartment.

She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Craighead County Detention Center. Johnson now faces a charge of theft by receiving, with a $100,000 cash/surety bond. Her next court appearance is scheduled for June 27.
