Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 14, 2025 — A Jonesboro man is facing a felony charge after a cybertip led investigators to child sexual abuse material.
On April 15, the Jonesboro Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Division got a tip from Arkansas State Police, originally submitted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tip originated from Google, which reported an account uploading child sexual abuse material. The account was in the name of 21-year-old Robert Hill. Investigators linked the account to a phone number registered to a residence on Sam’s Place in Jonesboro. Records confirmed Hill lived at the address.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the tip included 12 videos of child sexual abuse material.
A search warrant was later issued for the email accounts connected to the uploads. After an additional search, 111 more photos and videos were discovered that contained juveniles engaged in sexual activity, the affidavit said.
Hill was arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material. He was issued a $250,000 cash or surety bond and ordered to have no access to the internet or internet-connected devices. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 27.
