Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 25, 2025 — A Jonesboro man is being held on a $150,000 cash/surety bond after police said he shot at a vehicle while people were still inside.

According to the affidavit, on April 24, Jonesboro police officers were heading to Oak Street for a reported shooting when dispatch advised that the suspect vehicle, driven by 18-year-old Jordan Quinton Jones, had left the scene.

When they arrived, officers spoke with two victims who said they saw Jones putting a ski mask on before using his vehicle to block theirs in while they were inside. They said they then saw Jones pull out a handgun and fire at them, striking the vehicle four times.

The affidavit stated Jones was arrested after witnesses provided the vehicle’s license plate number.

On April 25, Craighead County Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge Jones with terroristic acts (conveyance) and unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle. He also ordered Jones to have no contact with either of the victims.

Jones’s next court appearance is scheduled for June 27. He’s being held in the Craighead County Detention Center.
