Brookland, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 7, 2025 — Brookland Police recently arrested two suspects in connection with a burglary at the Blazing Buffalo restaurant.

Officers were dispatched after the restaurant reported an overnight break-in. Surveillance video revealed two unidentified individuals came through a back door and stole two large arcade games, plus commercial-sized bags of French fries and shredded cheese.

The suspects also smashed tomatoes on the walls and shattered a large-screen TV by throwing a saltshaker into it, the probable cause affidavit said.

Video footage showed the suspects loading items into a shopping cart and pushing it down School Street toward Whitten Creek Apartments. One arcade machine was later found abandoned in a nearby field.

After releasing video clips to the public, police had numerous tips identifying the suspects. When officers arrived at an address for one of them, both were located.

One admitted to being inside the restaurant, saying that he remembered stealing fries and cheese, but he said he was too drunk to remember anything else.

Both were charged with commercial burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, and their bonds were set at $25,000 each. Their next court date is May 22.
