April 5
Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt: Zachary’s Sensory Gym will be hosting an egg hunt for special needs children and adults on April 5 from 9-11 a.m. at Grandslam Entertainment, located at 50 County Road 792 in Brookland, featuring inflatables and pictures with the Easter Bunny. This event will raise funds for the gym, which aims to be northeast Arkansas’s first sensory gym.
Saturdays in April (April 5, April 12 and April 19)
Easter Bunny Meet and Greet: Livi Littles will host this meet and greet every Saturday in April until Easter. This free event will be April 5, April 12 and April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Livi Littles Children’s Boutique, 2810 E. Highland Drive, Suite J in Jonesboro. The Easter Bunny will be there to meet your little one, take photos with them, and have a little prize-filled egg.
April 12
Jonesboro’s Best Egg Hunt 2025: Hosted by Jonesboro’s Best After School & Summer Camp, the hunt will start at 10 a.m. for children ages 5 and under and 11 a.m. for children ages 6-11 on April 12 at the Craighead Forest Park Softball Field, located at 4910 S. Culberhouse Road. Parking will be available on Access Road 6. Call or text (870) 761-0861 for more information on how to sign up.
Spring at The Uptown: Hosted by Delta T Boutique from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this event is located in the unit between Delta T and Hollywood Feed at The Uptown Shopping Center at 2206 E. Highland Drive, Suite 320 in Jonesboro. This event will feature 30-35 northeast Arkansas vendors, swag bags filled with gifts from every vendor for the first 40 customers, a raffle for a large basket with a goodie from each vendor and free Easter photos. Admission is $5 and includes your ticket into the raffle, or you can pre-purchase your tickets for $3 at Spring at The Uptown Event Ticket online.
Easter Jam: Hosted by Forest Home Church of the Nazarene, this annual celebration takes place on April 12 from 1-3 p.m. at 2403 Ritter Drive in Jonesboro. This event will feature an egg hunt, games, worship, telling of the Easter story, bounce houses, live animals, and more.
April 18
2025 NEAHS Easter Bake Sale and Rib Fundraiser: This event, hosted by the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society starts at 7 a.m. and continues until all items are sold at the Faith Free Will Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1008 E. Highland Drive. The drop-off time for donated items will be April 17 from 4-7 p.m.
This event will feature photos with Easter Bunny on April 17 from 4-7 p.m. and April 18 at 9 a.m. to noon. Ribs are $30 a slab. The deadline for ordering is noon on April 7. Ribs can be picked up April 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society. Visit NEAHS Events to pre-order.
April 19
Free Community Easter Egg Hunt: Hosted by Restore Church at 10211 Highway 49 in Brookland, the hunt starts at 2 p.m. It will feature an egg hunt for children from birth through the fourth grade, an egg toss for fifth through eighth graders and multiple door prizes.
First Methodist Church’s Easter Festival: First Kids Jonesboro will host this festival starting at 10 a.m. at Jerry Bookout Castle Park at Craighead Forest Park (Pavilions 3 and 4) in Jonesboro. This event will feature an egg hunt for children from birth through the sixth grade, DIY Resurrection eggs, games, activities, lunch, and more.
April 19 – 20
The Great Lake Frierson Easter Egg Hunt: The Arkansas State Parks is hosting this event on April 19 and April 20 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. starting at the Lake Frierson State Park Visitor Center.
During this free event visitors join a park interpreter to discover a variety of animals that will hatch this spring, then adventure through the park to track down hidden eggs. If you can’t attend the program, there is a self-guided version of the Great Lake Frierson Easter Egg Hunt available in the visitor center for the entire month of April. Find all the eggs, make discoveries about them, and receive a prize.
Some eggs are hidden along the trails, so wear hiking shoes or boots and bring water. Follow the Leave No Trace principles in the park and leave posted eggs, as well as any live eggs you may find, where you find them.
