Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – March 3, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Bowser: Bowser is one of Zelda’s nine puppies; they came in from our Welfare Team who picked them up from an abandoned house. Bowser has been in the shelter for seven weeks, but he’s still only 10 weeks old and under 10 lbs. He’s healthy and up to date on his vaccines and will be a medium-sized mix once he’s grown up.
Meet Hermie: Hermie is a 1-year-old male who’s been in the shelter for two weeks. He came in healthy and remains so. He’s an orange and cream domestic short hair, and he’s already been neutered. Hermie is very talkative but has a calm disposition.
