Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 27, 2025 – New and expecting parents have a chance to ask experts who know all there is to know about caring for you and your baby, both before and after birth, during the St. Bernards Baby State event.

The free, public event will be March 11, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the St. Bernards Auditorium, located at 505 E. Washington Ave.

Parents can meet with St. Bernards Medical Center’s prenatal and Birthcare Center experts, who will be available to answer questions and provide valuable resources for growing families. This quarterly event features door prizes, infant care education, pain control options, specialty baby vendors, car seat and sleep safety, newborn photographer and health and wellness tips.

There will also be information on upcoming classes, including:

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class: Learn the ins and outs of breastfeeding and providing your infant with proper nutrition. Although they ask that you only bring one guest, they do encourage spouses to attend. Bring a doll/stuffed animal for practice. Upcoming dates will be April 1, June 3, Aug. 5, Oct. 7, and Dec. 2.

Childbirth Class: Get an extensive overview of what to expect during labor and delivery. St. Bernards’ clinical experts will answer any pre- or post-pregnancy questions. Participants are encouraged to bring their partner or support person. Upcoming dates will be March 4, May 19, July 15, Sept. 16, and Nov. 11.

Newborn and Postpartum Class: In this class you’ll get valuable information about caring for your new arrival. St. Bernards’ clinical experts will answer any questions about what to expect during the newborn and postpartum phases of motherhood as well as support in this major life change. Upcoming dates will be April 22, June 24, Aug. 19, Oct. 21, and Dec. 16.

More Baby State events for 2025 are scheduled for June 10, Sept. 9 and Dec. 4.
