Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 3, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Mia: Mia is a brown tabby with white markings; she’s a 3-year-old female who has been in the shelter about a week. A domestic short hair, she’s a little shy and needs a loving home to come out of her shell!

Meet Paul: Paul is a 1-year, 8-month-old male who came in with his brother, Saul, about eight months ago. He’s been microchipped and neutered, and he weighs 51 lbs. He came in heartworm, positive, but he’s successfully completed treatment. He loves toys, fluffies, and cuddles, and he’s a staff favorite!
