Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – April 1, 2024 – 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force surveillance at a residence on Lakeshore Drive led to the Friday arrest of the resident and their alleged customer, according to the Jonesboro police.

While watching the residence, officers saw a woman, later identified as Sondra Lee McMullin, 20, of Pocahontas sitting in a vehicle in front of the apartment get out and go to the door, according to a probable cause affidavit by Agent Jeremy Parnell. The door partially opened, and agents saw an arm reach out and drop something into McMullin’s hand.

The woman then left the scene and was followed by agents.

Agents at the apartment then conducted a search warrant on the residence, occupied by Aasin Enrique Marshall, 27. In the living room, 1.9 grams of marijuana was found on a metal tray. In the kitchen trash, agents found a black cannister that contained 169 bluish-colored pills with M30 on them. The pills appeared to be fentanyl, the affidavit said.

McMullin was pulled overed later at the intersection of Harrisburg Road and Highland Drive. A search of her vehicle produced four pills of the suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

Fowler found cause to charge Marshall with trafficking a controlled substance, a class Y felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D felony, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $250,000 and his next court date is May 22 in Craighead County Circuit Court.

McMullin was charged with possession of fentanyl with the purpose to deliver, a class C felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license. Fowler set her bond at $75,000. Her next court date is May 22 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
