Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 21, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Delilah: Delilah is a 2-year-old female domestic short-haired cat. She’s only been in the shelter for one week and came in missing a tail. She’s very sweet and friendly, so the staff is already in love with her.
Meet Duck: Duck is a 4-year-old male hound mix who just came to the shelter four days ago! He’s heartworm-positive but will be treated. He’s 73 lbs., already neutered and a handsome fella!
