Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 20, 2025 – Arkansas State University was the home of many Martin Luther King Day celebrations, including high school band performances, song and dance routines from local groups, and a keynote speaker presentation.
High school bands from Forrest City High School, Osceola High School, as well as the Jonesboro High School Steppers and Drumline performed before the celebration in the Fowler Center.
The celebration also saw dancing and vocal performances from the NEA MLK Dancers and Singers. Elder Jervonne Newsome gave a keynote speech.
