Tulsa, OK – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 11, 2025 – Arkansas State women’s tennis gets its 2025 spring dual-match slate underway Saturday and Sunday, facing Louisiana Tech, Tulsa and Wyoming in the Hurricane Invite.
All matches will be played indoors at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. Live video can be found here.
“We have waited a long time and cannot wait to get the season started,” A-State head coach Sujay Lama said. “Three matches in two days against well-coached teams and formidable opponents is a challenge we have worked hard to prepare for. It will test us right away and give us a chance to assess ourselves.”
A-State opens play at 9 a.m. Saturday against Louisiana Tech before facing host Tulsa in singles play to end the day. Sunday includes the doubles point against Tulsa at 9 a.m., followed by a dual match versus Wyoming.
After returning home from Tulsa, the Red Wolves will host Missouri State at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Trim Gym’s indoor courts in Jonesboro.
