Joey Lee Jones, 62, of Delaplaine, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He was born September 16, 1962, to Raymond and Ruby Jones. Joey was a mechanic that enjoyed rebuilding motors. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, and listening to country music. Above all, Joey loved spending time with his family and friends.
Joey was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ted Jones, Reggie Jones, Jackie Jones; sister, Matha Guilliams; nephew, Ted Jones, Jr.; and his life companion, Norma Kay.
Survivors include his brother, Tony Jones (Gail); nieces, Lisa Priest, Becky Teel, Kim Blodgett, Kay Harris; nephews, Chris Jones, Nathan Jones, Rodney Jones; and numerous life long friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at O’Kean Free Will Baptist Church.
