Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 13, 2024 – Jonesboro police recently responded to an address on North Main involving a woman who didn’t want her car to be towed.

When officers arrived, they saw a tow truck preparing to tow a silver sedan. A woman was hurriedly trying to remove items from the sedan. Her first statement to the officers was an apology. She admitted that she should not have hopped into the tow truck.

According to her, the tow truck driver would not listen to her about getting her stuff out of her vehicle, so she climbed into the driver’s seat of the truck in an attempt to drive off. The driver jumped into the passenger side, put the truck in park and turned the vehicle off. That’s when he called 911.

According to the report, the truck driver contacted his employer, and the decision was made not to press charges against the woman.
