Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 13, 2024 – Highway 351, or Airport Road, in Jonesboro is scheduled for nightly closures starting Dec. 16.
Overnight closures, which will last from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., are scheduled to begin Dec. 16 and end Dec. 20, a news release from the Arkansas Department of Transporation said.
“Weather permitting, the closures will allow crews to install girders on the railroad overpass near E. Nettleton Avenue, south of the Jonesboro Municipal Airport. The highway will remain to local traffic only on either side of the closure,” the release said.
There will be a digital message board, construction barrels and signage in place to notify drivers of the change.
