Mildred Virginia Fuhr Smith, 92, of Yellville, passed away on November 26, 2024, at Springs of Mr. Vista Nursing and Rehab in Harrison. She was born on August 10, 1932, in Mars, Pennsylvania, to the late Herman G. Fuhr and Margaret Mae Miller Fuhr.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd D. Smith, and her son, George Floyd Smith. She lived a life full of love and devotion to her family, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Parker of Yellville; her son, Mike Smith of Maumelle; six grandchildren: Elsie Jones of Yellville, Bridgette Engi of Cabot, Rachel Grindley of Cabot, Matthew Smith of Puyallup, WA, Shaun Smith of Checotah, OK, and Shaina Smith of Los Angeles, CA; as well as her sister, Iva McClelland of Valencia, PA.

Mildred’s life was characterized by her strength, kindness, and love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and compassion. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Bradford Cemetery.
