Dewayne T. Hogard, aged 60, of Pocahontas, passed away on November 10, 2024, at St. Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center. Born on May 20, 1964, in Germany to the late Bill and Alice Dunn Hogard, Dewayne dedicated 30 years of his life to serving as a Corrections Officer with the state of Missouri. His passion for sports was evident, and he was a loyal fan of both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Alice Dunn Hogard. He is survived by his sister, Aneica (Andy) Ball; brother, Billy (Tina) Hogard; five nephews; and two nieces. His family and friends will fondly remember Dewayne for his kindness, loyalty, and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, at Hite Cemetery in Biggers. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
