Main Street to have temporary lane closure starting Thursday

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 23, 2024 – Parts of Main Street will have a temporary lane closure beginning at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday.

Main Street from Matthews Avenue to Nettleton Avenue will have a temporary lane closure for milling and overlay projects. Main Street will be open, although motorists should expect delays and plan their routes accordingly.

Jonesboro Director of Communications Donna Malone told JRN crews will start work on Nettleton Avenue and go to Matthews Avenue. On Friday, they will work from Nettleton Avenue to Highland Drive. She added that crews will return at a later time to lay asphalt.
