Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 17, 2024 – A Blytheville doctor’s license has been suspended following allegations of sexual contact with his staff.

The Arkansas State Medical Board suspended Dr. David Diffine, a Blytheville family medicine doctor, in an emergency order of suspension for allegedly violating the Medical Practices Act and Board Regulations.

According to the order, the Arkansas State Medical Board received a complaint, as well as security camera footage, from Diffine’s clinic July 17. The video shows Diffine engaging in sexual contact with staff members.

“The video shows among other things, Dr. Diffine performing sexual acts with a staff member while other staff members were present and watching. The video also shows Dr. Diffine walking throughout the clinic naked,” the order said.

According to Diffine’s website, his main office is in Blytheville. However, he also has offices in Bono and Paragould.

The board will hold a hearing Dec. 6 to determine if Diffine violated the Medical Practices Act.

In 2017, Diffine’s license was temporarily suspended by the state medical board for overprescribing drugs to patients. However, the board dismissed the charges after finding no proof of the allegations.
