Martha Ann Spencer, 88, of Paragould, passed from this life on October 11, 2024, in the comforts of her home.

Martha was born on September 4, 1936, in Paragould, Arkansas to Donald and Ruby (Williams) Branam.

She was the sweetest, kindest person whose greatest joy was helping others. Many knew her as the “sweet little white-haired lady “at Super D Drugstore for 30 years. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed for many through the years.

As a devoted Christian, she was a member and truly enjoyed attending Browns Chapel Baptist Church and cherished her many dear friends there.

Until her vision faded, she loved watching Dancing with the Stars, Cardinal baseball, and playing the piano. In her younger days she loved roller skating.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Andy Rylant and Jackie Quattlebaum; a brother, Bill Branom; and a grandchild, Zachary Rylant, as well as her beloved dog, Simon.

Martha is survived by her children, Bill Rylant (Annette), Susan Boling (Derek); grandchildren, Drew Rylant, Chandra Bryant (Nick), Leann Berry (Scott), Blake Rylant, Stan Mitchell Jr., Peyton Reddick (Luke); great grandchildren, Landen Bryant, Adalyn Bryant, Drew Berry, Casen Berry, and Braxton Berry.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1:00p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home with Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Mitchell Funeral Home.
