John Bob Wilson, 92, of Paragould, passed from this life on October 10, 2024, in the comforts of his home.
John Bob was born December 27, 1931, in Caraway, Arkansas to Everett and Stella (Colbert) Wilson. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. His courage and commitment took him to the Vietnam War. John Bob brought his love of being a pilot back home with him, where he worked for Britt Airlines. He was a faithful member of Village Creek Church of Christ in Paragould, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Bellarose Fuqua.
John Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Alma Wilson; children, John E Wilson and Daphene Gibson; grandchildren, Annie Fuqua, Katrina Gibson, James Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Annabelle Wilson, Alizabeth Wilson, Adrienne Dickson, Lauren Shaw, Brittney Davis and Devon Roberts; great grandchildren, Titus Wilson, Atlas Rowland, Lulu, Rex, and Magnus Fuqua, Ava, Esme, and Thatcher Dickson, Margot and Orson Shaw, and Jude Davis.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Village Creek Church of Christ with Sean Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Scott Colbert, Joshua Wilson, Mark Colbert, Jordan Wilson, James Wilson, and Barry James. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Village Creek Church of Christ.
