Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 8, 2024 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week alongside information about how to adopt or volunteer.
Cheese: An orange tabby, Cheese is a senior cat– he’s at least 10 years old, has already been neutered, and has been in the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society around three weeks. He was declawed before entering the shelter and is looking for his furever home.
Bert: Bert is a 6-year-old male who weighs a little over 70 lbs. He’s been in the shelter just a week, but he’s already a staff favorite! He’s heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. He’s friendly and playful and would make someone an excellent pet!
