City of Jonesboro changes traffic requirements for Main Street

Jonesboro, AR (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 1, 2024 – Parts of Main Street will become accessible again after the street was closed following a “possible building safety concern” at the Old Citizens Bank building.

In a Facebook post, the City of Jonesboro said drivers can make a left-hand turn from Union Street onto Monroe Street, allowing for a left turn on Main Street.

The post added that Big Rigs should turn from Main Street at Washington Avenue toward Bridge Street.

However, all other closures still remain in effect.

The City said inspections are ongoing regarding the building itself.
