Mrs. Earline Shurburte, of Trumann, departed this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, at the age of 82.
She was born April 15, 1942 in Rivervale, AR, the daughter of the late Jonny Mitchell Vance and Helen Rose Pate Vance.
Earline worked for the East Area Agency on Aging for 23 years and retired as a Nurses Aide. She was a prayer warrior and loved reading her Bible and watching CNN. She loved Country Music and Gospel Music and was known to be a hardcore Democrat. Purple was her favorite color and she loved coffee. She was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Shuburte, and two sisters, Shirley Smithy and Ruth Vanover. She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Drew and her husband Fred of Harrisburg, two sons, Johnnie Shuburte and his wife Teresa of Marked Tree and Bobby Randall Shuburte and his wife Cathy of Trumann, nine grandchildren, Breanna Ballew (Brice) of Harrisburg, Ren Shuburte (Callista) of Harrisburg, Tristan Shuburte of Marked Tree, Brailyn Shuburte of Harrisburg, Ariana Shuburte (Jason) of Tyronza, Jake Smith of Trumann, Justin Smith of Trumann, Tiffany Clairday (Devin) of Trumann, and Chastity Estrada (Eric) of Harrisburg, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gregg-Weston funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev. Jordan Blann officiating. Interment will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Thursday, noon till 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Ren Shuburte, Tristan Shuburte, Brice Ballew, Devin Clariday, Drake Chaffin and Riley Smith.
