Waverly Bruce Page Jr., 60, of Jonesboro, died at St. Bernards Medical Center on September 22, 2024. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1994, moving here from Marianna, Arkansas.  He was born on July 24, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Waverly and Dreamland Page. In his early years, he was raised in the Catholic belief, later in life he became an ordained minister for the Baptist belief.  He loved music, enjoyed listening to and playing music.  He was a life-long learner of knowledge.  He was a kind, generous, patient, and a very forgiving man.  He loved his family, including his extended family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jacklin Page, of the home; son, Waverly Bruce Page III of Jonesboro; daughter, Jasslyn Page of Memphis, Tennessee; and one sister M.V. Gardner of Forrest City, Arkansas.
