Wanda Mae Barker, 82, of Maynard passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her home.

She was born April 26, 1942 in Essex, MO to the late William Paul and Mae Irene Jackson Eddens.  She was a hairdresser and of the Pentecostal belief.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mae Eddens; son, Edward Barker Jr; brothers, Jim Eddens and Kenny Eddens; sisters, Norma Swier and Sue Dent; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Lee Barker Sr; daughters, Lawanda Knee and Antone Ray; grandchildren, Kylie Kolznak, Lee (Chassidy) Wooldridge, Paige (Alvin) Creed, Jessica Shocklee, Austin Shocklee, Cody Ray, Joe Ray, and Emma Ray; great grandchildren, Connor Beard, Eli Beard, Lexi Beard, Logan Louvier, Isabella Wooldridge, Axel Creed, David Creed, and Tyson Wooldridge; brother, Bernard Eddens Sr; sisters, Carolyn (Dale) Putman and Diane Abernathy; and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 1-3 PM with a funeral service beginning at 3 PM with Kenny Barr officiating.  Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Austin Shocklee, Trent Rainwater, Alvin Creed, Cody Ray, Lee Wooldridge, and Logan Louvier.
