Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 29, 2024 – In separate but related vandalism incidents in the past few weeks, an unknown male suspect has tagged over $4,000 worth of property with black spray paint around the Jonesboro area.

The first incident was reported on August 19, when multiple acts of vandalism occurred between midnight and 10:42 a.m., according to the incident report.

The suspect was caught on video.

Jonesboro Police were dispatched to walk the downtown area in search of the graffiti and a picture was put out for help with identification.

The damaged property found included a $1500 Vineyard Outdoor billboard and a $500 City of Jonesboro stop-light control box at the corner Main Street and Cate Avenue. The billboard has since been removed.

On August 25, the vandal struck again with the help of a friend at around 4:30 a.m., this time tagging a $1,000 traffic control box at the corner of Bridge Street and Johnson Avenue, where they were again caught on video, and then again at the corner of Patrick Street and Johnson Avenue, where they hit another a $1,000 traffic control box, as well as an election sign, an ice machine, and more.
