Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 28, 2024 – Residents of Jonesboro’s Northside community are having the 2024 Jonesboro Northside Reunion for families who have lived in and around north side of Jonesboro.
The Northside includes some of the following streets: Second Street, Third Street, Fourth Street, Gordon Street, Word Avenue, Allen Avenue, Allis Street, Main Street, Church Street, etc.
The event will begin Friday, August 30, with the Meet and Greet from 5-9 p.m. at the Parker Park Community Center, located at 1506 N. Church St., which will include light refreshments and attendees will be able to pick up t-shirts and welcome packets.
It will then continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the Reunion Picnic at Rev. Lewellen Park, located at 102 W. Allen Avenue, that will include a barbeque lunch that promises food and fun for all ages.
Then, on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. there will be the Farewell Dinner at the Parker Park Community Center to honoring some of the senior citizens, which will feature a soul food dinner catered by Nadia’s Kitchen.
To attend this three-day event, participants must be registered and there is a $100 fee for event festivities, which also includes t-shirts. Children 3-18 will be $25 and kids under two are free.
