Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 24, 2024 – Two Jonesboro men have been arrested for not following court orders and registering as sex offenders.
The Sex Offender Community Notification Assessment Program (SOCNA) requires offenders who change their address to notify the agency within 5 days of moving.
Mario Becton had been living on Makala Lane in Jonesboro for about a year, and he made no attempt to register his address. Christopher Frey was delinquent for his biyearly check-in, and when he did meet with officials, he gave them an Arkansas ID with the wrong address on it.
Both men were given a $75,000 bond, and they are required to register when they’re released. Both will have to wear an ankle monitor.
